1.Heartfelt Like Dying:
After a wonderful enter with the sounds of melancholy keys with the doom guitar, come the growls of Leonidas and turn to clean vocals with progressive tone. The growls and the clean vocals works well with good guitar riffs , imposing bass and thumbing drums. A very good piece with fairly good musical inspiration.
2.Irradiance (For The Unlight):
The track starts with heavy doom sound and growls in the classical path of funeral sound of North. Again after some solo guitars with distinctive drums the clean voice comes and after of double echo vocals the keyboards follow the whispering voice with great lyrics. The drums enter with the progressive solo of guitar. The growls and the clean vocals interchanged without tiring and they are well suited with the rich of influences sound of the band.
3. The Isolation Splendour:
Another track with long time in the same musical mood with the back drums to support the whole sound. Here we have more progressive death elements. The song has many melodic moments with the very good male voice. Before the 6 min the sound become powerful with strong drums and growls to turn again to progressive sound .
Hard driving guitars and thundering drums lead us into the track and again the growls will mix with the clean vocal. In the 3.00 min the sound of keys is imposing and calm the song. Finally the keyboard play characteristic roll in the musical support of all the songs. The lyrics in this track are very powerful and the guitar remind to us the good times of Draconian.
The track opening with haunting keys and thumping drums, the guitar follow the tempo. Perfect musical result with lyric recitation from the singer in one dramatical tempo. This is the smaller track in time but it is a very good song.
6.Eradicate (The Pain Of Remembrance):
The most progressive track of the album but in the same way of the doom sound, with powerful lyrics and excellent clean vocals which jump to powerful growls.
The song opening with sound effect and strong guitar and enter the male voice with epic lyrics. One more good track with melodic and doom mood.
Finally The Isolation Splendour is a very good start for a band that has it all; ideas, talent, songwriting , ana a perfect singer. I am sure it will take you with its melancholy touch into the world of doom death and why not and gothic music. Highly Recommended!
