4.LA NOTTE DEI CENTO FUOCHI:

We have here the first song in Italian language. La notte dei Cento Fuochi means The night of a 110 fires. While Halloween is a holiday Anglo-Saxon, it is equally true that many municipalities in Italy can boast a long tradition of festivities for the night of All Saints’ Day and the anniversary of the deceased. Among the most peculiar and picturesque certainly falls to Orsara, in Puglia, where the night between 1 and 2 November you can witness the bonfire of the heads of purgatory, better known as the Night of the hundred fires or Night of Fucacoste.
The song saw to us the native roots of the band with dark, melodic and folk elements.A masterpiece track.

The heavier track of the album with growls and dark riffs .Black and also progressive elements and is very big and good surprise how the band manage to change the heavy sound to melodic with the keys and the backing drums.

Finally Furor Gallico make a perfect album. The eight players of the band create a special sound. If you like Omnia or Eluveitie, then try to give attention to this great band. Also if Nightwish turn now to folk music is better for you to support Furor Gallico ,they have more to offer in the dark folk music. The alum highly recommended.

  1. Reblogged this on Honest Abe's Blog and commented:
If you are in the Celtic nostalgia and also an adept of good metal and growl, you should definitively try this band. Great crafted album for those who like Celtic-metal and are looking for something similar but different from Eluveitie
